gtx6970 Posted March 6 Posted March 6 (edited) The reissued kit from about 10 years ago. I had rebuilt an original issue years ago....but in a weak moment up and sold it. No odea why. No matter....But I felt it was time for another one in my case. This isnt nothing fancy. Some engine details added. Swapped out the kit wheels for a set of the more correct Hurst rims and tires from the sparesbox Tamiya colors with duplicolor 1k clear topcoat. All rattle cans I think it came out real good for under 10 days build time end to end. Edited March 8 by gtx6970 7 1
M W Elky Posted March 7 Posted March 7 It looks absolutely fabulous. I’m also a big fan of tamyia rattle cans . I’ll have to give that duplicolor clear a try I like the way yours came out with the pearl in it I think it makes the gold really pop . I can’t wait to build the 1965 version.

It REALLY made the gold pop. Just added sparkle to the black But. Yes It laid down very nice I have to admit.
drodg Posted March 12 Posted March 12 That ended up looking great. I don't think I have ever seen one of those finished. Tamiya spray cans. You got to love them. Again great job.
Zippi Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Just a Great looking build. Just watched the video of Bob Riggle and Jay Leno crashing in the Hurst Hemi Under Glass.
diggerguy Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Nice! I owned a 66 eons ago, your looks great. I see ( I think ) that you fixed the totally wrong magneto location that this kit has always had. The rear of the block is WRONG, looks like you moved it to front (right side) where it should be. Good going.
