Found a tutorial from @lou s which I used as a starting point.

 

A keen eye will notice that I also enlarged the rear quarter windows a bit, they are longer on the fordor then the tudor.

 

 

Like the concept of your build. Your question about the different colors on the body of the 1:1 '40 sedan maybe explained that it can be common to get parts from several different vehicles to replace the ones on your 1:1 build. Sometimes they aren't all that better than what you already have but not have as much rust. A final paint primer maybe used after all the body panels are straight enough to paint.
