We are starting to get tight on server disk space. I've limited the size of individual attachments (pictures and videos) to 10MB. This should be plenty big for most any picture, and I don't think more than a few users will notice a change.

Please let me know if you have problems posting pictures.

Yes I don’t see the photo select button anymore either. It was there two hours ago.😕 Is this an error or is there some new way to post photos?

No photo select on PM's either????? just a black box with other media in the right corner.

I always resized my photos to no more than 1200 pixels across (way under 1MB, usually less than 500kB in size) and I suspected that we would take up too much space, so and advocated for others to do the same (or have the forum automatically resize the photos).  I recall that admins (Dave) reason for allowing large size images was because they might want to use them in the printed magazine articles I always thought that was lame excuse (because even if the photo was resized for the forum, the original author likely still has the high res version which if needed could easily be provided to the magazine's staff).

I also didn't realize that the forum allow for video uploads.  That is a real space hog. I don't think I ever seen anybody include locally uploaded video in their post.

And like others, I no longer have the ability to add images to my posts. :(

if you use the choose files or drag option in the box below the text you can still add photos.

There is no choose files button anymore.

I'll try and get hold of Dave, if it helps it works as normal for me using firefox.

It does not work for me on FFox either.

Cant do anything with pictures..it tells me Ive used 40727%

3.98 GB of my 10MB

I'm at 8013 percent. I was going to start a new WIP thread but it's pointless now without the ability to load photos.
