Sam I Am Posted March 25 Posted March 25 I know I haven't built a big rig of any kind in quite awhile,so hear goes nothing. Last year a friend and I bought a huge big rig collection, unfortunately from a modeler who had passed away. My friend isn't into big rigs, and we sold most of the collection to make some money. For my part, I kept a few things....ok....more than a few things, as some of my part of the proceeds. This is one of the unfinished kits. I like the color combo but it looks like I'm going to get creative with the unfinished parts because I don't think I can match the paint. I think all the parts are there, so the big issue will be making myself actually finish it. 6
Bills72sj Posted March 27 Posted March 27 I am along for the ride. I have dreams of making my L700 into a short tanker. Like the septic tank cleaning type.

'70 Grande Posted March 29 Posted March 29 (edited) Like some others, this project has my attention. If it can be done, would like to see some pics of the extended frame underneath this project. Edited March 29 by '70 Grande

Chariots of Fire Posted Saturday at 12:46 PM Posted Saturday at 12:46 PM Good rig for a lumber yard. I have a couple of those L-700's. Make sure the cab sits straight on the chassis. It was one of the little quirks in the mounting process.
