I think I solve this quiz. This is a 1960 Ford FK1000, from 1961 named Ford Taunus Transit. Developed to competed with the VW Typ 2 and the Tempo Matador Ford build it from 1953 -1965 in Cologne/Germany, from 1964-1966r also in Azambuja/Portugal.  The payload was 1,000kg  (2,200 lbs) or 1,250 kg (2,600 lbs). The FK could be delivered as a Pickup, Van, Bus or wooden platform. The car in the picture belongs to Ford Classic Car Department in Cologne/Germany.

Ford USA didn't like the fact that in Germany and in the UK were different designed light commercials were sold so they command Ford of Germany and Ford of Britian to devlop an common deisgned ligth commercial, Project Redcap. Buut tha's another story.

I am a little concerned about the nuclear power plant cooling tower it appears to have in its bed.

Never judge the payload capacity of anything by its size.

Looking at the alignment of the truck and the power plant, I suspect this was meant to be a joke photo from the get-go.

No, no no no no. It's real. The truck is carrying a cooling tower.

I've analyzed the shadows and parallax and calculated lens attenuation and plotted the location on Google Earth and checked my horoscope just in case.

Exact same methods I used to prove conclusively the Earth is flat, and that humans never went to the Moon.

That is the cooling tower of a coal power plant. I took several pictures of the truck in front of the coal power plant but I didn't realize  that cooling tower looks like the load of the truck.

The coal power plant  will be shut down in 2035 like all coal power plants in Germany and not like somebody lies that we in Germany have every week a new coal power plant will deliver electricity. Sorry for this political statement.

To me that black/white photo (and the logos on the door) looked like it was taken in the '60s in DDR (or GDR in English), but now I know it is a contemporary photo.

Not only couldn't I find the right car - I didn't even get the right model of power plant. Woe is me!
