6_4_4 Posted April 17 Posted April 17 So here it is, my first build in a good few years, I was originally going to be doing a 69 superbee but then found the roadrunner and had to have it. Im just waiting for the kit to turn up but I thought I’d still start my build post, also this is NOT going to be a straight box build, this will be custom build. Stay tuned…..
6_4_4 Posted April 26 Author Posted April 26 A little update, the kit finally showed up from revell Germany, also bits 3d printed by Stichdup. So the plan is to modernise it but not overkill with a few oldskool touches, a nice purple paint job, smoothed in bumpers, custom suspension setup and the heart of the beast the 3d printed hellcat engine! 4
6_4_4 Posted May 16 Author Posted May 16 Progress has been slow but progress is progress, I’ve managed to get a shot of primer on the body and started sanding out moulding lines. Also started stripping the chrome grill as the fitment isn’t to my liking so I’ve decided to mould it into the body to give it a hellcat inspired front end, new bumpers will be made front styrene sheet too and also moulded in to go with my modern classic style build. Whilst I’m on the subject of the hellcat, I’ve been making progress with the engine, it’s about a third of the way built, there’s just so many time consuming bits but here it is so far. 2
