FoMoCo66 Posted Saturday at 10:46 PM Posted Saturday at 10:46 PM (edited) These are a couple of rare diecast cars I inherited from my grandfather. He owned a NAPA store back in the 1990s. While the car models themselves aren't especially rare, what makes them unique is the exclusive NAPA paint scheme. To get these, you had to be a store owner. The system worked by reporting how many of certain items you sold, which earned you points. You could then redeem those points for various types of swag—these cars being among the available rewards. Not many store owners chose to spend their points on diecast models, which makes them even more uncommon. My grandfather still has a few others, like some of the WIX models and a NAPA '69 Mustang. He just had duplicates of the ones shown here so he gave them to me (still in the original boxes). Just wanted to share these before they got packed up for the cross town move. Thanks for looking.
