Automodello Mainstreamer

This is an Automodello 1969 Chevy Kingswood wagon. It's 1/24, primarily resin with lots of photoetch trim. Beautiful model. Paint and finish are well in line with the price point. 

I was surprised to hear about these. Automodello usually does classic and luxury car models so this kind of mainstream car is unusual. Then again, the Kingswood was Chevy's top-of-the-line station wagon--not quite a Cadillac, but close.At 1/24, this is a big model. But I had to have one.

Man, if Revell or AMT released a kit of this....... I would definitely get at least 2 or 3 (just like the 57 Ford Del Rio Wagon).
