Yup. Windows 10, Chrome and Firefox, everything updated, clear caches.

Same here on Sunday morning....TB

Turns out the issue, at least for me, may have been that my own images in my Fotki album were not loading properly, including when accessed from a site like MCM.  So at least for me, on Sunday morning, Fotki was the issue, not the MCM Forum...

I'm pretty sure the photos we host are loading properly. The text should be loading promptly. If it isn't, let us know.

We've enabled "lazy loading" which means the photos don't actually load until you scroll to that part of the thread. This saves us a lot of resources. However, we can't vouch for photos loaded on an external host. So, if you're using something like Photobucket or Fotki, there may be performance problems that we cannot address.

Some of the photos being 2 billion pixels doesn't help much either...

OK, I understand now. My company's web product is very image heavy and we did the same thing a few years ago.

The more I investigate and try different things, the more I'm seeing evidence that the slow performance may be directly related to issues with my ISP and Chrome.

I had the issue but it seemed to clear up when I logged out and back in.  Running Win 11 and Firefox.

This morning I added some photo on the F6F post but after clicking "Submit Reply" , a message came out saying that the page I/m looking for does not exist. I try few time later, still nothing.

The issues seem fixed/better on my end and I havent changed anything.

The issues come and go for no apparent reason from my perspective, but performance is definitely different depending on what browser and ISP and privacy settings I use..

interesting. I wonder if maybe I'm just not around these parts enough to notice that. I'll have to keep track.

This is a different and known issue too.

See the following post in that thread and also replies from Dave Ambrose.  It explains the seemingly strange problem.

I've read the thread.

This happens with text and photos.. with text and no photos... and with photos no text... so no, not exactly

It is resolved now. I don't know exactly what I did. But I was able to post it. :)
