atenzapower Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 I have so many projects at this moment, but what the hell. This is a bild on request,by Fuijmilover This one is for you mine deer friend. this is a glue bomb buy,the doors ware gleud together so i have removed the doors ,and i am trying to make the doors work.but thats goinig the hardt way. This is the box. Now i must find a great color. There is also a second wing on this kit. I ll wil post more pics soon.
FujimiLover Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Thank's buddy, and glad to see it spelled correctly! LOL! My kit seemed to include an option for building it stock, or KS style. Since my box-art shows a white one, I'm going to go with a pearl white finish here. Not sure which brand to go with for the pearl white though. I'm curious as to how in depth detailed your kit is. I wonder if Fujimi ever released a simpler curb-side model of the Countach?
FujimiLover Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 I'd like to suggest a color for you. Since I'm doing mine in pearl-white, and the box-art on yours look's like a nice green, I suggest useing Colors By Boyd's 5903 Chezoom Teal Pearl. It's a nice dark metallic green that I'm going to be useing on my wide-bodied Toyota MR2. I bet it would look just as hot on your Countach. I'm not sure what plastic your body is molded in, but I'd suggest a gray primer for this green. Whatever you decided to do, I'm looking forward to it!
atenzapower Posted May 9, 2009 Author Posted May 9, 2009 This one is a pain in the ass. The bodykit does not fit whell,(what els is new). so i did a lot of dryfitting, but we getting there. This is the good side. And now the bad side, whitch i messesd up when gutting the door out.So i am going to fix that one.(TRY) the new one. There is alot of putty work to do. I cut a lillte to mutch on the wheel fender.Need some putty.
FujimiLover Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Look's like you got a tough project going on there! I wish you luck with the body. Fixing body work is such an itch to do. I bet you can find a similar Countach model, that just won't have the Koenig features. Perhaps the Koenig features are still good?
FujimiLover Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Any updates? I'm anxious to see this one come through!
