T700 Engine Info – Is There a Model Kit Out There?

I've been reading up on the T700 turboshaft engine lately and thought I'd share a bit of what I found. It's a fascinating piece of machinery with a lot of real-world applications. I'm wondering—does anyone know if there's a scale model kit of the T700 available? Ideally, something that shows the internal working parts would be amazing!

The T700 is widely used in military helicopters such as the Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk, SH-60 Seahawk, McDonnell Douglas AH-64 Apache, and Bell AH-1W SuperCobra. On the civilian side, it's also used in helicopters like the Bell 214ST and Sikorsky S-70C.

There's also a turboprop version of this engine, the CT7, which powers regional commuter aircraft like the Saab 340 and the CASA/IPTN CN-235.

The following photos show the military helicopters mentioned in the post, and they're equipped with the T700 model engine. Great to see this level of detail captured so well!

It’s definitely the kind of engine that would make for a great technical model. If anyone has seen a kit of it—especially one that reveals the internal mechanics—I’d love to hear about it!

Wow! Thank you so much for sharing—I'll definitely give it some serious thought! I noticed that the store actually offers free shipping and no tax within the U.S., which is awesome. Now I’m really getting interested in their other aircraft engine kits too, haha.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience! I noticed the website you mentioned seems to be based in China—how did you come across it? Have you purchased any products from them yourself? Curious about the quality and service from firsthand users.

@Potaka I had no prior knowledge of it, until a fellow modeler presented his recent purchase, and provided the link. I have also seen video's on YouTube of their unboxing and assembly. I have no experience with purchasing. I have more than enough kits to keep me busy for the foreseeable future. 

 

Maybe if you go to YouTube and do a search on T700 scale model, you might find something.
