jmk0303 Posted June 25 Posted June 25 (edited) Hi folks. Basically an out of the box build of the recent release AMT ‘63 Corvette coupe. Added flocking for carpet, clear plastic on horn button and turn signal stalk. Gauges by Best Model Car parts. Edited June 25 by jmk0303 6
jmk0303 Posted June 26 Author Posted June 26 327 fuel injected V8. The kit instructions didn’t show the injection pump so I assumed the kit didn’t include it. After scratch building my own and installing fuel lines & filter, I found that the kit DID include the pump. It was on the chrome tree. Oh well, mine was already on so I left it. Added dipstick, heater lines, throttle linkage, oil fill tube, fuel pump (Iceman) and 360 HP decals from Ray’s Kits. 5

jmk0303 Posted June 26 Author Posted June 26 (edited) Finished up. Got the Satin Silver from the local paint shop. A couple of decals under the hood - I made the air cleaner decal and radiator shroud decal was from Ray’s. Connected the throttle rod and heater hoses to the fire wall and ran the expansion tank line. There were some other details under the hood I was planning but frustration set in some calling it done. Scratch built the antenna and sourced the side view mirror from another Corvette kit since this one didn’t come with one. Thanks for looking! Edited July 9 by jmk0303 5
