LDO Posted July 26 Posted July 26 (edited) Did a cat knock yours off the shelf? Did your dog chew the front end? But seriously, I would love to have the engine from a glue bomb, unfinished project, whatever. It’s for a future show rod project. edit: or whole kit Thanks. Lee Edited July 27 by LDO
Quick GMC Posted July 29 Posted July 29 I know this doesn't help, but there is hope out there, maybe Iceman or one of the 3D parts guys will have or can print this https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/mclaren-m8f-chevy-engine

LDO Posted August 3 Author Posted August 3 That engine looks good. I have a friend who can print custom parts. I’ll look into it. For the show rod project, I found a different V-8 with mechanical fuel injection. It’s the Buick Nailhead in the new Revell 1930 Ford Model A coupe. The same type of engine in this build from 1967. It used parts from an Uncertain-T. That kit is too expensive for me to use for parts. My project will be a tribute build.
Leo64 Posted yesterday at 04:13 AM Posted yesterday at 04:13 AM Here is a pic of the McLaren M8F engine from Cults3D that I printed out recently. I haven't cleaned up all the parts, and a couple of the small parts I left on the supports. I usually print extras of the small parts just in case. It looks pretty good to me. Steve A.
