Suspension and axles are arriving, the suspension will be pretty close to accurate for 2017 C500, the 3D printed axles are not perfect for the year, but fairly close and well detailed.

Hi Gary,

Where did you get those aluminum/steel (?) Blocks. I can see those being extremely handy for ensuring frames are completely square.

Cheers,

Have you decided on the Neway or the Hendrickson suspension?

Neway, but there are two versions, one version has a wishbone (better term) that connects the top of the axle to the frame, the older version has two rods, I have the two rod version, that I got from ST Supply

The Neway AD is a great little kit , used it on an older KW. Like the diffs , never seen those, what's the source ?  Thanks

Those axles are from ST Supply, they are in the 1:24 scale Kenworth air suspension kit.

Thanks.  Wouldn't have thought to look at that.

Me either, had that set for correcting the T600 kit, was digging for axles for C500. One note, these axles have the large wheel hubs as well, bonus for me.

Wow, Gary!

Doing three builds at a time and all of them with the same great quality and defication!

Not really , 1:the Road Boss will go back to the shelf again for future work, 2:  The C500 is next up but still chasing parts, not starting building anything yet, 3:my time is still focused on the 925 KW and getting it finished.

I started a couple separate parts boxes for the next build, and am still getting some bits mixed up between the two projects I have.  Pretty sure three builds would require part of another room for me - sounds like you’re very organized!

eBay, they are https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=1-2-3+blocks&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p4624852.m570.l1311

i have six of them or three pairs and oh man, they are great for fixturing things up, squaring things, I also have one set of V- blocks and a full set of parallels. I also use a height gage to get all my axles at the same height.

Hi Gary,

Thanks for the info on the 1-2-3 Blocks. I’ll definitely have to invest in some of those now that I know where to find ´em.

Cheers,
