G’day Don, I probably wouldn’t worry about a clear coat, as you’ve already got a good gloss finish already. As for the Mercury, you might have to put some pictures up on the Mercury thread of the issue with the grill. Cheers, Stu.

Hey Stu, got the   Merc sorted, my confusion was the one part wasn't identified, and I got a bit confused - it's an age thing.🙄duh!

I'll try and get time to clean it up this week, working on the interior and suspension, also trying to catch up with the Merc now I've got the body sorted.
