Bugatti Fan Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Way, way back in the 60's and 70's I can remember seeing a die cast kit of a small Alfa Romeo Giuliia saloon car in a model shop (remember them?) window. Not sure of the scale but it might have been 1/24th or 1/20th scale. I believe the kit was of Italian origin, but not a Protar or Casadio kit. I think that the kit was around for a very short time back the before disappearing into oblivion. Does anyone reading this have one of those kits, or a recollection of who might have made them?
peteski Posted Monday at 12:50 PM Posted Monday at 12:50 PM That Tamiya kit is plastic - not diecast metal.

Probably you mean Togi (Italian manufacturer since 1957 which produces lots of Alfa Romeo die-cast models in the unique 1/23 scale, but i don't know if they sold also kits of these cars) - here is a link mid-60's Giulia Berlina: https://www.carmodel.com/togi/7-63/1-23/alfa-romeo/giulia-ti/13344
Bugatti Fan Posted Monday at 05:29 PM Author Posted Monday at 05:29 PM Thanks Helmut. Togi is a name that rings a bell and I think that was the manufacturer. The die cast kit I seem to remember is of the same car that Tamiys has since done in plastic.
