When do you NOT crush a project Bob? It seems I am to always expect nothing less than your best and it is always a beauty. Yet another fine example of what can be accomplished with imagination and a flair for the dramatic.

Wow! That is definitely one to be proud of. I am curious about the gas tank. I can understand the scallop out of it for a spare tire for a car with a trunk. Did use the same tank on the El Co?

Thanks Eric ! I agree about using Cragars but it is very hard to find accurate ones with the correct offsets .

Thanks Bill !  Actually the passenger cars had a full size tank and the scalloped tank was used for the station wagons , the El Camino is based on the station wagon .
