Dragline Posted November 7 Posted November 7 When do you NOT crush a project Bob? It seems I am to always expect nothing less than your best and it is always a beauty. Yet another fine example of what can be accomplished with imagination and a flair for the dramatic.
Bills72sj Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Wow! That is definitely one to be proud of. I am curious about the gas tank. I can understand the scallop out of it for a spare tire for a car with a trunk. Did use the same tank on the El Co?

I agree about using Cragars but it is very hard to find accurate ones with the correct offsets . On 11/6/2025 at 5:37 PM, karbuildr said: A superb build in every way. Thanks David ! I wish I had a photo to see what kind of job I did. I do remember that I did not fill the rear door seams!! Thanks Phil !Β I've thought about using a wagon but have never done one .

Thanks Bill !Β Actually the passenger cars had a full size tank and the scalloped tank was used for the station wagons , the El Camino is based on the station wagon . 1
