MeatMan Posted Monday at 09:41 PM Posted Monday at 09:41 PM (edited) Well, now that I have your attention, the massive pileup occurred in my basement. I've been forced to use my workshop as storage space for the ladies and got lazy and tripped over my MIL rarely used exerciser. I should have moved it but I didn't. I tripped over it and fell onto one of my display shelves. My 56 Belair custom was totaled, my 32 Ford is not a total loss but the suspension is broken, among other things, and my 56 Vic custom is in bad shape, but might survive. Quite amazingly, both of my Chrysler 300B's survived! No damage at all. Whew! I love that red one. Don't be a ditz like me! Take the time to be safe. Edited Monday at 09:42 PM by MeatMan 5

89AKurt Posted Tuesday at 02:34 AM Posted Tuesday at 02:34 AM I can relate, am looking at some models with broken parts from over two years ago. 1
espo Posted Tuesday at 07:34 PM Posted Tuesday at 07:34 PM Reminds me of the time I was showing some of my models to a visitor who knew nothing about our hobby. They liked a '62 Impala SS model that I had, it had won a trophy at one time and wanted a closer look. The model slipped out of my hand and dropped on the floor. The carpet may have helped to break the fall, but it still almost completely disassembled itself on impact. The good news is that it all went back together fine and I'm the only one that can tell any difference. 1
Big Messer Posted Tuesday at 08:28 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:28 PM Knowing myself, when handling models I always put them on the palm of my hand , wearing gloves and use the other hand to stabilize them. No casualties... yet.
