Glassparman Posted Saturday at 11:41 PM Posted Saturday at 11:41 PM Has anyone noticed issues with the length of the Moebius Driveshafts for the wrecker? Everything is mounted properly but the shaft from the transfer case to the rear axle seems too short and will fall out if not glued in place. I can fix it no problem, just thought I would ask.
bobss396 Posted Sunday at 11:54 AM Posted Sunday at 11:54 AM I usually make up my own or at least convert them to 1/8" aluminum tubing. I now use 3/32" tube at the ends, so I can adjust the final length and not struggle installing one with the engine and transmission. 1 1
stavanzer Posted Monday at 01:56 AM Posted Monday at 01:56 AM Given the number of unsed parts in the typical Moebius Truck kit, it might be the wrong drive shaft. Are there any other shafts in the kit? The part call out could be in error. 1

Glassparman Posted Monday at 01:40 PM Author Posted Monday at 01:40 PM Yeah, I guess I overlooked the missing driveshaft. Plus, I'm mixing two Moebius kits. I swear, I did NOT see that other shaft and I looked for 15 minutes because that is all my OCD would allow! LOL Last night as I was cleaning up the bench, that darn little shaft jumped right in my face. Of course I hand already modified the one I thought was too short. Oh the life of a retired guy. When I was young, I was on my game. Now I'm not ever sure what my game is! And yes, lots of leftovers. The next one up on the bench lineup is also a Moebius Ford truck so I'm sure I'll go through this same thing again. 2
