greenday Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 This is a kit I finished a little while ago, a 1950s Chevrolet 3100 Pickup. Sorry for the lack fo pics. This kit was molded (body) in color, but I didn't much like the creamy tan. I sprayed it flat black with a coat of clear for a tough semi-gloss look. This was an AMT/ERTL bonus pack, which included everything needed for assembly. It went together pretty well, and I thouroughly enjoyed assembling it, and I imagine anyone else who enjoys a good classic would to. Thanks! stw
greenday Posted May 25, 2009 Author Posted May 25, 2009 thanks, that technique is great when you want a tough looking vehicle but with a bit of shine...not too much, not too little. plus, flat paint lays down easier I think.
