Chassis pan. I was not confidant about stock tie rod length leading to unaligned front wheels, so I cut the rod and sleeved it. After assembly I aligned the wheels and glued the sleeve. Worth it?

The body in white. Decent fits. Subtle and easy mold parting lines. Be careful with the alignment on rear piece.

I munged the decal for the seatback speaker. The decals are admirably thin and seem to seat well, I was impatient and the Future gloss I used was still tacky.

Masking this for different colors will be extensive so I am doing a lot of brush painting. Used Tamiya XF-69 NATO Black instead of pure black. The interior color will require many thin coats to cover.IMG_7004.JPG.69803fddd74c10c63b0698de1c0ddabe.JPG

Installed the interior to the body. There are good enough location tabs, but it does not just drop into place. Close, but enough that I did not want to hold it long enough for adhesive to set. I normally use MEK and canopy glue, sometimes ACC. So I used a hot soldering iron with a fine tip to CAREFULLY melt a small portion of the mating surfaces to stake the parts into position, to hold while the adhesives can set.

Tail light assembly. The inner portion gets covered by the outer clear part, depending how clear that is. In my case, there is black trim, taillight red and amber (translucent at best) and some diluted light gray on the backup light areas means I cannot really even see the inner portion. The clear outer covers fit closely, test fit to be sure the sprue nubs are really cleaned off.
