1932 Chrysler roadster part?

Small thing but anyway, does anyone know what these parts are for in the 1932 Chrysler roadster gangster edition. They are not listed in the instructions but are in the kit.  I wonder if the are parts for a similar kit like the LeBaron with the trunk and are just kept on the sprug. Thanks

looks like the making of a door/ trunk hinge. maybe to convert the rumble in one of the other versions?

I did find instructions for the LeBaron, and it is similar and uses a lot of the same parts as the Roadster does.  It is the hinge for the trunk on the LeBaron body! End of mystery.
