Jaguar XJ-SC TWR Sports Cabriolet

It’s taken me all year but I’ve finally finished my build of Hasegawa’s XJ-SC. I kit-bashed the TWR parts from the TWR coupe kit with the regular XJ-SC kit. It’s painted Testors Extreme Mystic Emerald over Tamiya TS94 Metallic Gray (color scheme inspired by the bad guy’s custom XKR in Die Another Day). Top and interior paints are Krylon. The red pinstripe decal comes with the TWR kit, and it was extremely tricky to get that thin decal straight enough without tearing it. Overall this kit goes together great with a little fiddling here and there. I’ve been sitting on this build idea for a few years now so I’m glad to finally get it out of my head and on my shelf! Now for the dozen other build ideas on my back burner…
