Big truck transmissions

I am going to be building a mid 50s F600 or lager truck and wondering what is available,a semi trans will be too big and a car trans will be too small.

Most of the transmissions from the AMT semi kits are from the 1970s, so I'd think they'd been "too new".

You could maybe use the SM465 from an AMT Crew Chief Blazer?

I got looking through my parts and found a truck 4 speed from a Moebius kit.

The Lindberg L700 cabover has a big manual transmission and two speed rear end that is good for trucks from that era.
