1955 chevy Bel air sedan AMT fitment

Anyone else have problems fitting the engine onto this kit? it really doesn't stay in place to glue and has problems with the firewall once putting the body onto the chassis.

I just looked at the one I built, I think i moved it forward by cutting open the slot inbetween the 2 wholes that the engine mounts in. I may be wrong about that because I dont have a unbuilt kit to look off.

I usually make up provisions to pin engines and transmissions in place. Or add something to the mounts or make my own.
