Dennis Lacy Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago I built this model to participate in The Official ‘32 Tudor Sedan Build Off. My goal was to create a timeless modern hotrod by kit-bashing within Revell’s series of ‘32 Ford kits. The complete chassis, supercharged small block Chevy and grill/shell come from the most recent Roadster kit. The chopped sedan body is a very high quality piece from my friend Ed at Drag City Casting, for which I created the original master. The wheels and large rear radial tires come from the original issue HiBoy Roadster while the front tires are from a Revell ‘40 Ford Coupe. The firewall, hood top, taillights and interior are from the Sedan except for the ‘40 Ford steering wheel from the 5-Window Coupe. Paint is Tamiya TS-88 Titanium Silver over their primer and under their gloss clear, polished and waxed. I’m a year late for the original end date of the build off but, better late than never! 😎 14
FoMoCo66 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Excellent work Dennis as always! Im glad that you could get this group build done and join with the rest of us. Dont forget to post a couple picks in the group builds finished thread. Oh and I love all that color matching on the frame and suspension components. 1
Kit Karson Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago What you do with real hot rods pales in comparison to what you do in scale, Brother! -KK 1
bill-e-boy Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago What a beautiful car. All the right bits in all the right places, spot on chop height, stance etc. Like it 1
espo Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Beautiful paint finish and like the color. Great looking engine and chassis details. Nice stance along with the wheels & tires. 1

Dan Hay Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Gorgeous! They should employ you to build the kits for the box-art. Probably sell more that way! 1
STU111 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Wow! So much excellent work on one model. Mildly tinted glass is a nice touch l didn’t immediately notice. Flawless. 👍🏻 1
