zealotta Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago (edited) Extending the Chassis 2mm to get right wheelbase!Shaving of the rectangular increases left and right of the Cardan tunnel to make the chassis ffit deeper into body! Yiew of the lengthened chassis from the underside and widening of the track 2mm driverside and 4mm passengerside ss Smoothing of the tub underside to get the chassis more into the body especially deepening it between those 2 "ghostlines" removing the sidewalls for better detailing Detailed sidewalls.Plasicsheet handgraved made negatives of the Revell Talladega with oyumaru and filled them with UV resin covering of the hollow front frame rail engine room with covered frame!Dome and washerbag still to be modified Centered front frame Spacer for chassis to body Alingnment of the half mm on right side of body over the chromed rear panel engraving of the seperation line of fender and winddeflector engraving of the seperation line between side panel and rearend and attahcment of the really not existing chromestrip engraving of the sep line between frontfender and the carsill(? maybe wrong word,i am from Germany)Sep line to side panel still missing reworking the cromepanel on the front cover for distance between firwall and interiortub Engine with flattened carbs(on top and on the underside) and flattened intake manifold These mods to car, manifold and airfilter have to be done because of the lenghtening of the chassis the engines is 2mm further to the front and keeps the hood from closing! Hollowing out the airfilter so that it sits lower on the carbs Still tight between hood and airfilter!but now fits modded ridehight and rims So thats most of the problems with the kit adressed!have fun and greetings from Germany Call me crazy, but i did two of these "kits out of hell" at once! bobss396 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago I did one... well started one 15 years ago as a stock car. I took it out a few years back and stripped the paint, shot it in white... had decals adhesion issues... BACK IN THE BOX!! I was able to open the wheel openings so the wheelbase was not an issue. But the rest of it was a major fit exercise. The rear chrome bumper I have to revisit, now we have a decent chrome spray to help that.
