jTorge Posted yesterday at 01:23 AM Posted yesterday at 01:23 AM I'm pretty excited about the progress I made today. Finished up the interior and I was able to do some dry-fitting to the not-yet-painted body. I had been trying to imagine whether it was better to attach the interior to the body first - or to the chassis first. Getting to try it for real made it apparent - I'll be attaching it to the body first, then adding the chassis after. Everything lines up really well. I was especially glad to have the front of the body (inner fender wells) mate up tight to the chassis. 6
STU111 Posted yesterday at 11:15 AM Posted yesterday at 11:15 AM Nice work, interior looks great. The Revell Chargers are good kits.👍🏻 1
johnyrotten Posted yesterday at 12:19 PM Posted yesterday at 12:19 PM Great work so far,Jim. I went with the same color combination for my 70 roadrunner. Nice job on that engine as well. 1

Nice job on that engine as well. Hi John - Thanks for your kind words. It will eventually get sprayed with Testors Extreme Lacquer Bronze Metallic. And a Satin Black "vinyl" roof. If you have a snapshot of your 70 road runner, I would like to see it. I have built that kit twice and enjoyed it. It is a long story why I built a second one, and have a third one in the box. Here we go... (Don't feel obligated to read on.) The first 70 RR - I bought at the local hobby store as a practice kit. My Marine buddy (of long ago) saw it and said, "Do you remember my '70 RR? (1:1) Oh dang, yes I did, so I had to get a second kit and build a replica of his. But none were to be had as that kit was in short supply last spring. I ordered one from the local hobby store and after several weeks they said they couldn't get it. So I ordered one on-line. Got that one - then the one I had on order that the local store couldn't get, came in and I bought it anyway. I will either do a triple black with that one, or silver paint and red interior. 1

I chose not to do a w.i.p. on this one,as it's box stock and a recreation of a local car from my childhood. And I don't want to hijack your thread. Beautiful work on your road runner, those cars have a special spot for me, I grew up racing in a mostly Mopar garage. 1
