gtx6970 Posted Sunday at 02:53 PM Author Posted Sunday at 02:53 PM (edited) good guesses but nope. A hint. The body is painted the color it's going to be. The car was restored, and semi actively campaigned up until a few years ago. Steppenwolf Edited Sunday at 04:46 PM by gtx6970

Brutalform Posted Sunday at 08:49 PM Posted Sunday at 08:49 PM I read somewhere that there is some type of tractor paint that is a pretty close match to the max wedge colors.

I normally use a paint from True Value I think it's called safety orange maybe The 1/ 1 color has much more yellow to it than this one. My ultimate goal looks like so Edited Sunday at 09:32 PM by gtx6970 2
MR. Macabre Posted Sunday at 10:28 PM Posted Sunday at 10:28 PM Regardless, if you're building any '64 Dodge Polara sedan with a Max Wedge or the HEMI, I look forward to seeing it once it's finished. 1 1

gtx6970 Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago Seats Tamiya Italion red. w / Tamiya dark red accents. Tamiya satin clear top coat.
Brutalform Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Now that looks real sharp. Nice how two similar colors look that good together. Did you paint, or foil the door panels? 1

Did you paint, or foil the door panels? Simply taped up the entire seat / door panel . Then cut the areas I wanted darker with a sharp exacto blade. Sprayed the dark red right over the Italian red. Floor is done same way Silver accents on door panels is brush painted with flat aluminum and a new fine brush. door handles are fusion chrome Its not exactly what I was going for...but I can live with it.
