Spam? All I was doing is promoting a new RC club - how is that Spam?

You'd have thought that fellow modellers would welcome each other with open arms. I would understand if someone posted a thread trying to sell Viagra or such items - but I've been racing RC cars for over 30 years and just wanted to spread the word - as you never know who might be browsing this site from the UK - after all, the web knows no boundaries...
