Scalefinishes Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 (edited) Okay, I finally had a break in the rain long enough to let me snap some pics. Seriously, if it rains any more in Utah I'm going to have to start building boats. So much for living in the desert. Here they are! The Revell Bullitt Mustangs! Hosted on Fotki Here is just the 2008. Scalefinishes Highland Green, with the required Black interior. The wheels are painted Testors Graphite metallic. Hosted on Fotki Here is just the 1968. Once again Scalefinishes Highland green, This time in a Gloss acrylic enamel. Also with a black interior. I used both kit mirrors. When I researched the real car, the use of both square mirrors was strongly suggested because of visibility issues on the real 68 fastbacks, and I wanted this kit to represent what a good 1:1 build would be like. The wheels are Testors Metalizer Gunmetal. Hosted on Fotki Thanks for looking. Jameston Edited June 15, 2009 by Scalefinishes
RJWood Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Great work. Can't decide which I like best, they both are very well done. Got any pics of the engines?
Crazy Ed Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Jameston Nice job on the Pair. I like the Generation idea. Ed Erbeck Jr
beefheart22 Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Great display side-by-side. Both are outstanding! Shows that the new Mustangs finally have some attitude. It wouldn't work if it was the previous couple generations beside the original Bullitt!!
crispy Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Beautiful stuff Jameston. The generational pic looks the best and shows the color difference very well. Chris
