JTRACING Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 heres my new project a 1967 GTX some progress so far!
Wildrice Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 Great start James. Can't wait to see the rest.
JTRACING Posted November 6, 2006 Author Posted November 6, 2006 Thanks Guys! Here it is after some paint. The BMF that’s on it now I applied before I painted, next up is some clear coat then I can finish up the rest of the trim.
Wildrice Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 I like that color. Has anyone posted a tutorial on doing BMF that way? I want to give it a try but want to make sure I do it the right way.

JTRACING Posted November 8, 2006 Author Posted November 8, 2006 Here’s the rear bumper, I notice I just have to touch up the "p" in the Plymouth word
Gray Smith Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 I have to say thats a great looking build so far, your paint finishes rock. I'm going to try out the ole bmf before paint on one of my next builds, looks pretty easy to do. Keep up the great work Gray
Hillbilly Deluxe Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 Hey James Your BMF work is incredible!!! How do you do it??? I was thinking about doing the foil then the paint like you did on the badges around the windows. Any help would be greatly appreciated John
JTRACING Posted November 14, 2006 Author Posted November 14, 2006 This one is almost done, I made an error on the hood and I am stripping the paint from that, once I get that repainted this is pretty much complete. I changed a couple things like the license plates and when I repaint the hood I am taking off the dual scoops. Here is where I’m at now.
Hillbilly Deluxe Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 Gorgeous!!! Nicely done James John
Steve H. Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 Very nice build, I've enjoyed watching it come together!
