Swany Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Both look great! Is that an Italeri Lancia? Looks like the one i'm building right now.

Swany Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Ahh. I see a few differences. The vents on the hood are one. Do you have any shots of the front grille?
Crazy Ed Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Hi Dale Like what you did with both kits. Wondering which 917K did you use for the #22 LeMans Winner? Ed Erbeck Jr.

I used the Fujimi 71 Lemans winner 917K. I did use some photo etch parts from Studio 27. Edited June 25, 2009 by 935k3
935k3 Posted June 25, 2009 Author Posted June 25, 2009 (edited) Swany, Here is a pic of the front grill. It is separate but molde in black. I painted semi-gloss black then foiled th grill surround and very carefully painted the red trim with Tamiya Acrylic. The Acrylic was cleaned off by scraping with a toothpick dampened with Ammonia where it went over the edge. Ialso scratchbuilt the small square screens and there framework because the kit pieces are solid clear plastic with an engraved screen. Edited June 25, 2009 by 935k3
Swany Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Yeah, that front bumper is very different. But i love the detail on the grille. Looks great!
