None of my suspensions are adjustable. If you are talking about the Buick GN, what I did was take the rear coil springs and drill a hole through the center from top to bottom and was able to put styrene rod through the spring and mount it to the rear axle. The front was more work due to the fact that you need to cut the a-arms off the front and angle them so the front tires are lifted and butterflied if that makes sense. Using the donk kit's suspension, I was able to modify this easy. You never want to just glue the donk suspension to the chassis. In a real lowrider, you will never see the front crossmember hanging down below the chassis, nor will you see the coil springs hanging down for the rear. HTH

Wow, James. Your builds are off the hook, man! :( I'm also building a lowrider. A 1971 Olds Delta 88. I'm using the wheels you gave me. I have not painted it yet, but there are some mock-up shots in the WIP.

I thought the rims looked a little familiar. I cant wait to see what you do with that Olds. Thanks for the props!

cool, thank you for the info! and i was talking about the blue 77 monte carlo!

Anytime bro, oh and BTW, the Monte is a snap kit that has an adjustable suspension already pre-made.

I think you'll like what I have planned. Delta Dawn will be painted with a Metallic Gold base, Red Metal flake top coat, colour matched 455 Rocket, tan viynal top, with a two-tone brown interior.

Thanks Kevin. I been watching your build. What happened with the paint? I know you stripped it, but have you started to repaint it yet?

I kept getting runs on the lower rocker panels. I have not repainted it yet. I'm out of metallic gold and red metal flake. The only parts I did not have to strip are the engine, chassis, and hood. The paint on the hood is just gorgeous.
