thanks ;) ! and awd look  ? it is awd :P !!!! lol!

It sounded better in my head.

With out the front axle , maybe ya could drop the front more.

Something to that effect.

the stock suspension! but i am going to highly modify the suspension so i can drop it!!!! and plus i am going to keep the 4wd!

I totally sped read right pass that. ;)

1/20 Linbergs seems to be tough kits.

I've started 2.

That's it.

Wheels look good under it.

gotta love those bursts of actually getting something done

also, have you considered building a rear roll pan for it ?

gives it a lot cleaner look

up, i love it alot!!!!! lol!

well, here is one on a toyota

6404.jpg

and here is one on my 53 ford

IMG00037-20090620-2117.jpg

basically what it does is ad a body panel on the rear end instead of or underneath the bumper that "rolls" underneath the body

(hence the name roll pan)

like i said, it gives the truck a much cleaner look

FYI i an planning on building one for my bug

oh, that! lol, i feel like a tard! i was thinking of something different! lol!!!

i am thinking about it! but i am not sure if i want to keep the rear "4x4 bar" bumper! that would be the only clue that its a 4x4! i want to fix the front bumper gaurd! to help add to the clues! lol! but i might just do that!

thank you for the idea!!!!!!!

i think that is one of the main things i like about this place, being able to bounce ideas of people

you might come up with something you would have never thought off on your own :D

thank you eelco for the idea! i gave it a try! and i have to say this is the first time trying to make a "roll pan" for the rear! i think it turned out ok!

ok, this is some extra scrap plastic form the toyota and a sheet of brass cut to size!

100_1271.jpg

here is the scrap plastic glued in place to act as a support!

100_1272.jpg

and here is the brass glued on, its not smooth or perfect, but it does look better than before!!!

that is exactly what thought it would look like

nice job

i think it looks much better, very street truck like

as for the front gaurd, id say fix it first and take it from there, i mean, tape it on there and if it looks good run with it, if not, save it for later :)
