Just recieved the 1/12th scale FORD GT40 MKII kit and may I say "VERY SWEET" now lets see if scale motorsport makes that photoetch kit we've been hearing/reading about.....................Rob

Ya mine's still at the hobby store....they're holding it for me till i get the "Do-Ray-Me's"...I think SMS might do more than just photo-etch...They'll probably have turned metal parts, braided hoses, aluminum rims and fittings, resin pcs...maybe a photo-CD...I hope it won't cost above $600.00 mark but I won't be surprised if it is..

Take lots of photos after you bleach-off ALL those chrome sprues!!

No super detail set from SMS for this one guys, sorry. Matthew Wells says aspects of the kit just didn't meet his criteria for producing a set. Too bad . . . I know it would have been superb.

The high note of this is that Matthew is working on a reference CD for the car! Yippee!!!!!
