John Bowman Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 I am looking for one of their sheets... #52 Carling Chevelle driven by Canadian Earl Ross.
Billy Kingsley Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 Well John, your best bet is to post on a board that has more then one NASCAR builder on it...(meaning me) I am not sure Paul is still making decals, unfortunatly... I am pretty sure William @ BSR is working on a new sheet for that car, though, or possibly the Monte Carlo version of Earl's..

There seems to be new decals for recent cars on ebay from Cherry Run so I thought they were still in business. So Paul doesn't have an email or website that you know of? Is William the decal maker for BSR?
Billy Kingsley Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Yes, that is William... I hope this doesn't break any rules... Gregg, Jairus, please don't beat me http://www.randyayersmodeling.com/modelingforum/
PatRedmond Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 John, Do you HAVE to build the Chevelle? I have the Monte Carlo sheet for the Red Cap car to spare, but not the Chevelle.
John Bowman Posted November 14, 2006 Author Posted November 14, 2006 Well... I wanted to replicate Earl's 1974 Martensville race winner which I believe was a Chevelle. I have the Model King Chevelle kit already. Any chance you will be making a set or two of the Black Label decals? What year is the Monte Carlo in your picture and what kit would I need to make that car?
John Bowman Posted November 14, 2006 Author Posted November 14, 2006 Acourding to this web site... http://www.racing-reference.info/race?id=1...27&series=W He drove a '72 Chev (no mention of the model) sponsored by Carling to victory at Martensville.

THAT is the Monte Carlo winner I have decals for. Use the AMT 70 Monte Carlo kit and an AMT 90's NASCAR Chevy chassis. Both are pretty plentiful. I'm pretty sure you'll not get anything from Cherry Run anymore.
John Bowman Posted November 14, 2006 Author Posted November 14, 2006 Thanks Pat... now how do I get those decals? From you?
PatRedmond Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 Thanks Pat... now how do I get those decals? From you? You have a PM.
