MonoPed Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 Not big progress, but better than tossing it back in the box :-) The Fisher kit comes with a nice PE fret that includes the front spoilers and three pieces for the rear spoiler. Because there is little surface area to attach the pieces to the body, I decided to open my options a little by making a one piece rear spoiler from .020" sheet. Also have the front fender vent location and size figured out, but still too chicken to cut this thing up...LOL!! Brian
mannyclub Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 Cool Brian. Does that one have lots of decals too? lol Manny
Jairus Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 Come on... don't be a baby about it. CUT it UP! It's only resin...er, plastic... er, money!
MonoPed Posted March 30, 2006 Author Posted March 30, 2006 It's going to be this car, chassis #1038 driven by Jacky Ickx/Peter Shetty, untill Ickx had an "off", killing a corner marshal and destroying the car. The decals are pretty complete, only lacking Firestone decals for the tires.
S10man Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 You're off to a good start Brian. Cut the louvers and lets see it start to take shape.
