Here is some pics of work I am doing to Testors late-model Charger R/T.

First, those big clunky hinges had to go! A grind head in my moto tool did the job. Yeah, it's a pre-paint metal body, but the rest of the kit is just like a regular plastic kit.

No hinges, so I filled in the slots in the firewall...

Here is the chassis. I did a lot of research on this, everywhere there is masking tape, is black on the real car. I misted a coat of Sub-Lime around the edges as minimally as I could...

Here is the 5.7L Hemi. I added a the oil dipstick, and made the "HEMI" graphics for the engine cover.

I've seen this somewhere b-4 ;)

Engine is looking good.

I was building the police one and painted the engine cover.

Turn out bad, stripped it.

Then realized it is black plastic on the car too.

why paint it black?? :D

ANywhooo.

Nice job on the chassis and firewall too.
