A pair of rat rods

Well, I have a couple more projects that I wanna really work on and finish before the end of the year.

First up is a '26 Ford.

So far I have the stock frame pieced together which will be Z'ed. And I have chopped the top.

Next is a '34 Ford

I have an extra cab, so I plan to see about making this a quad cab rat rod. We'll see what happens. LOL

Kinda hated to see the top chopped on that sedan, but for the theme yer after, that's gonna look good !!

Alright, so last night I managed to cut the bed floor out on the '34. And make a wood floor with some craft sticks.

Today I have the body in primer and the wood has been stained to look old using some old paint thinner.

they do look pretty sweet chopped i hesitated chopping mine, but went ahead and did it, now im glad i did!

nice job on that bed man. i like how not every piece is the same size. really adds some realism too it. can't wait to see how this build goes.

The '26 is Revell. I coulda just bought a resin chopped body, but its more fun to do it myself. LOL

Well I got the cab of this one the way I want it to look.

Acrylic paint sponged on. Let it dry and took some rubbing alcohol and a toothbrush and started scrubbing and came up with this.
