If I were running Revell's sales and marketing department, here's what the next kit in the '32 Ford series would be:

Body:

A roadster / closed cab pickup (Like they did with the '29 Ford pickup).

Build options would be fully fendered or highboy.

NOTE: I really like the Vicky, but it's probably too close in appearance to the 2dr sedan to make a significant enough difference to get a good return on investment.

Chassis:

Since the truck chassis is different than the car chassis, maybe we could even get away from the bagged rear axle and move towards a transverse leaf spring out back with some vintage drums...

With that, we might even get some finned Buick drums up front, too...

Engines Choices:

1) The flat head from the '50 Ford pickup with the Arden heads;

2) The Caddy engine from the '49 Merc with a 4, 6 or 8 hole log manifold and a set of finely crafted 97s;

3) The small block Chevy fuelie engine from the '57 Black Widow (with a log manifold option, too).

Tire and Wheel Choices:

1) Big 'n Little Steelies with chrome trim rings and '40 Ford hubcaps;

2) Big 'n Little Steelies with Lancer hubcaps.

I think this would be a great combo on it's own and would provide those of us who like to swap parts for various other combinations with a few more goodies to pick from.

What body style and parts would you pick if it were your choice?
