chris4q Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 1/24 Tamiya Mini Rallye Monte Carlo with a hand built Jairus chassis. Fun car to do.
voljeepx Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Chris, that looks incredible! Paint is outstanding and your decal work is first rate! Good job!
Tony T Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Very clean build, I love it! Very cool that you also made it a slot car, AND kept it FWD! Fantastic!!! Must be a blast on the track!
jbwelda Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 yeah i have one of those too that i was going to build a chassis i could lower the body over. one thing ive found is those tires look pretty good but they really dont do well on the track. you can get some itty bitty silicones from a guy on ebay, jeez i forget his name, but he sells silicone tires and if you email him and ask he has (or had) nice tires for coopers and fiats etc. they really make a big difference on the track esp plastic track like scalextric or carrera. great detailing job there, and jairus chassis looks sweet too, anglewinder and all.
