firebird funny car - what can be done from this kit?

guys, i`ve just received revell pontiac firebird mc donalds funny car kit.

decals are terrible, so what other can be done from this kit?

i found some slixx decals, but they are for newer cars. what difference is there in body?

any suggestions are welcome..

do a Candies & hudges modern ramdition....it will be a cool project

or even a warbird.

I had the same problem and i just painted the car black

and painted the okley logo on the side....it look cool.
