hey yall i need your help with my next progect i am goine to build a amt pete 359 to look like http://www.bigrigspulling.com/node/38

i am wondering if i shoud make a four point cage and sand down the dash and mount a single tac and race seat from a nascar or a prostock seat? and were can i get a close up view of the pete interor??

I've never seen the interior of one of those pulling rigs so i'm not sure. What your wanting to do makes sense though. I always thought they still had a regular dash in them? It would be a lot of work to remove all the stock equipment. Plus the extra weight on the forward end of the truck would be helpful.

I would concentrate on building a big nasty, high horse power engine for it, a weight box on the rear and the proper looking hitch. Unless your trying to build an exact replica of the one in the pic?
