Privateer Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 I am just about ready to start this project. It's an old Revell kit from 1974. Pretty typical from the time period. It has opening doors, detailed interior, a little 4 cylinder engine, and tons of ejector marks. My version will have an updated 32 frame and suspension, modern wheels and tires, and an Ardun flathead with a SCoT blower. I ordered the engine from Replicas and Miniatures. I am not sure exactly what to do with the interior, but I have a couple of ideas. The pic shows a very rough mockup.
Lyle Willits Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 I've built the same car(the kit's been reissued a ton of times) using the Revell '32 Ford frame. If I recall, only a couple very simple modifications are required to fit the frame. I used many of the interior parts from a Revell '32 Speedwagon kit, if that helps.
JAFFA Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 those TT's looks great on this one! Ya just put em there for mockup, or are those the wheels youre going to use?
