Just finished this Revell '40 Ford Standard coupe. Paint is Testors Gloss Gull Gray. The interior is two-tone gray.

So what makes it a hot rod? How about a flathead with Ardun heads and eight Strombergs?

The gray body with the red wheels looks really nice!!

It looks like you had to do a bit of work on the firewall to get those big heads to fit. Nice job!!

Thanks for sharing,

I can just imagine pulling up next to it at a stoplight, admiring a great restored old Ford and then getting my doors blown off. Cool.

Fantastic build! Uncommon colors can occasionally be a gamble, but this one hit the jackpot. I'm already thinking of models in my collection that would look great painted that color. Thanks!

This one looks very good to me! I like the paintjob on it, it's great looking. Stance is very nice, and wheels and tires are awesome. I like the look. Engine looks very great also, Ardun heads and those eight Strombergs are looking really cool. I like it, keep these coming. I have also one '40 Ford, but it has been waiting for builder some time. It will be quite same styled as this one.

absolutely love it

If you don't mind telling, where did the engine come from?
