buba39 Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 is there a way to clean over spray off model glass with out damingeing it?
envious8420 Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 What type of paint? Most Enamels will come off with enamel thinner with out harming the glass. If it's a hotter paint (lacquer, etc...) then i would try polishing it off with a polishing kit or super fine rubbing compounds.
Jairus Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Model Master Airbrush thinner will clean off just about any paint, even lacquer, without harming the plastic surface. I usually take a Q-tip and dip it into the thinner, then very carefully stroke the surface a little bit at a time. Don't scrub too hard as it will leave tiny scratches. Afterwards you will want to polish the surface and then wax it to keep it shiny.
