BiggC Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 This is a truck I built for a friend. Interior.
prostreeter69 Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Nicely done, that thing is sweet. How did you do the interior? Jon
CB Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Cool and Classy lookin'! Love that cab and the color! Would be a cool 1:1 ride
James Flowers Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 That is a very cool build . I like the color and the wheels in black.
Space Cowboy Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Great looking crew cab. The color is fantastic and the detail is great..
BiggC Posted November 3, 2009 Author Posted November 3, 2009 Thanks everyone!! For the interior door panels I used styrofoam from a styrofoam plate. Drew out my design which indented the styrofoam and then I painted it.
Raul_Perez Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Nice build!! Where did the center console come from? Thanks,
BiggC Posted November 3, 2009 Author Posted November 3, 2009 That is some seriously nice work & I'm not even a fan of 1/1 crew cabs!! Great build & a great idea on using those styrofoam plates for door panels! I'm guessing you painted them with acrylics? Oh BTW, I'm glad to see you shop with my employer, I saw the Hy-Vee "Fruit Splash" drink mix canisters you keep your brushes in. I work for Hy-Vee! Again, a great model! Yes I used acrylics on the interior, sometimes it quicker for me to use them and they don't eat the styrofoam. Yep, have a Hy-Vee just down the street. lol Nice build!! Where did the center console come from? Thanks, I got it out of a Dub City Dodge Magnum. I had robbed all the rest of the parts off of the Magnum and that was about the ony thing left.
