catpack68
here it is after the rebuild.the first color i used was testors nassau blue lacquer which was not offered in 69,so i changed the color to MCW rallye green.the clear is omni urethane.it was built before the release of the revell yenko 69 nova kit,so i used the engine from the revell 69 yenko camaro kit.the wheels are from the amt 70 chevelle ss kit.i added a vinyl top, detailed the engine and interior.the rocker panel moldings came from the model car garage 68-69 nova detail kit and and the decals are keith marks.thanks for looking. Lownslow
i woulde left it like that weathered it a bit to make it look like the top ramp on a carrier crushed it
Modlbldr
RacerX- That is a fine job in both incarnations. You do nice clean work. It must have been heartbreaking to see that damaged after putting so much work into it. I know. I don't think that I have ever had one survive more than a year without some damage from something. Very aggravating. Again, though, Nice job both times. Later-
george 53
Scott, Yeeesh it looks like it rolled! You did a GREAT job of bringin it back! What happened? looks like someone either dropped it flat on it's roof, or they put something on top of it,that crushed it. Either way, it came back great!! dimaxion
Ouch ..good save . I like #2 . green is my favorite color . I am glad you didn't go for a Car Carrier crush victim . That damage sure wouldn't be from the top . I could vision it backing into the #3 position (in the "belly') on a "Little Mac" when the driver forgot to pin the deck . The deck just collaspes to the flat position without the pins in place when weight is applied . Like the unit driving on it . A "Little Mac" is the second generation of the Cottrell Sullivan Carrier Trailers . Thanx ...
