I finally got brave enough to post some pics. This is my first completed build since I was 14. I got back into the hobby a few years ago but a busy work schedule and a few moves kept me from building. It didn't stop me from buying though LOL. Here's my 1972 Chevy fleetside pick up. Built pretty much box stock besides the wheels and tires and a few little items. Sorry for the poor pictures. I'm home sick today and low on energy. I'm a little rusty so take it easy on me.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I needed some inspiration. I have a couple started projects that I hope to finish up soon. Look for some pics soon.

Well, if that's you work being "rusty", you are a force to be reckoned with when byuilding at your best! Very very nice!

Jeff, my brother in law had one in that same color combo. It was a REAL popular one for that year! his had white steel wheels with dogdish hubcaps. And just like Roge said, when he sold it, it sold on the first day! :D:lol:

Very nicely done! I like the colour combo.

I understand how life gets in the way of building. Keep at it even if you only have a few minutes here and there.

For a better chassis option check out the Revell 64 and 65 Chevy pickups. The suspensions are very similar and the wheel base is pretty close for a short bed. I am using for this project and plan to use it on a couple of others. You'll have to make some modifications to the body and bed to get them right, though.

Very cool man, my advice to you, stay away another 15 years!!! :):D:o

:D I've been pretty busy building the last few days. I might even finish another one before the end of the year. I hope I don't burn myself out!
